Robert J. Schaeffer
CPA
As a native of Missouri and a graduate of the University of Missouri at St. Louis, Rob got his start as a member of the staff of the Missouri Auditor in Jefferson City, MO. He became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1987. He received additional apprenticeship training with the tax and probate department of a top law firm in St. Louis, MO.
Rob first established a professional practice and relocated his practice to Springfield, MO calling it Schaeffer CPA. In addition to his work at Schaeffer CPA, Rob taught as an adjunct professor of accounting at University of Missouri and has also lectured for professional development courses in employment, sales, and income taxation. Rob has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for over 25 years.
In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, and recreational reading.

Jean Schaeffer
Payroll and Tax Compliance Specialist
Jean had a long career at Graybar Electric Company, where she worked for over 30 years. In this role, she oversaw sales, inventory, and business operations for several branches across the state of Missouri.
For most people, one career would be enough. However, Jean always goes above and beyond. She's been an integral part of Schaeffer CPA since the start. She has worked with Schaeffer CPA in many different capacities over the years. A friendly face to clients, she currently she holds the title Tax Compliance Accountant.
When she's not at work, Jean stays busy. She enjoys golfing and spiritual studies. However, nothing brings her more joy than spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Proud to Serve You
Rob and Jean are grateful for the opportunity to establish and work together as a small, local, American-owned business. Both Rob and Jean have a grandparent who died while serving our country during World War II.
Rob’s grandfather, Sherman Andrews, died in the European theatre just weeks shy of the end of his tour of duty in 1944.
Jean’s grandfather, Joseph Piatchek, died in 1945 while in the Pacific theatre.
Thank you, not only to these brave men who fought and died for us, but to all our military heroes who serve and have served our country.
